The Great Gatsby

During the sweltering summer of the early 1920s, young Nick Carraway, a stockbroker, is drawn to Wall Street in New York. He moves into a small house on Long Island. His neighbour is a mysterious man known for throwing the city’s most legendary parties:
Jay Gatsby. Nick soon finds himself moving in these circles too, as he is tasked with helping Gatsby rekindle his relationship with Daisy, who is Nick’s cousin and Gatsby’s great childhood love. But she is now married to Tom Buchanan, a wealthy millionaire from the Midwest. The plan succeeds thanks to Daisy’s close friend, Jordan Baker. Although Tom is cheating on his wife with another woman, he is determined to prevent Daisy from choosing the inscrutable Gatsby at all costs. Following a confrontation between the two, a fateful accident occurs that turns everything upside down.
